I've been involved in the Web since 1996, and tinkered with programming as a hobby since using an Apple II back in the 80s. I started out professional life just as the dot-com craze was getting underway. Originally a production artist, copywriter and occasional designer, I ended up angling my way over into development, particularly after playing around with Flash.

What drew me most to Flash was the way it engaged both halves of my brain. On the one hand, it's great for art and animation. On the other, it allows for enormous technical possibilities. I've used Flash and Flex to create everything from widgets to banner ads to interactive animations used in court for litigation graphics.

My eclectic skillset has led me to perform a wide variety of work at firms large and small, including Ogilvy One, Publicis Dialog, Grey Direct, Modem Media, Charles Schwab, Think Twice and By Design Legal Graphics. End clients have included Yahoo, Sony, HP, and various sports teams such as the L.A. Lakers and Utah Jazz.
